Murmure’s Concrete Business Cards

by thewheatandthechaff

French design studio Murmure have made themselves some wholly impractical and entirely desirable concrete business cards.

I’ll let Murmure explain the concept:

“Playing with the notion of scale, we created a set of business cards made of concrete. this material, so characteristic of our environment, was enhanced by using the smallest and most refined communication support. The refinement and the technique required for the typography highlight the harshness and the roughness of the used material”

In an age when exchanging business cards is becoming an increasingly outdated form of networking, what better medium to cast them in than stone?
