LED long exposures

Finnish artist Janne Parviainen has created a series of images that look like scenes from The Matrix, but are actually topographical light paintings created by tracing entire rooms with LED lights and capturing the effects with long exposure photography.

No post-production editing has been applied to the photos, and the results have come directly from the camera. It took Parviainen about 30 minutes to ‘light paint’ each room—tracing every surface and object in the room with LED lights.
