The Pop Up Agency
Founded by six Hyper Island students, The Pop Up Agency is bringing the “pop up concept” – ubiquitous across various industries during the past couple of years – to the world of advertising. The founders describe the concept as “a mutual win-win; the client gets a dedicated team of six creatives working constantly for 48 hours to come up with a strategy, concept or solution to their challenge. We get the opportunity to work with what we love, and challenge ourselves to develop. We don’t charge the client, instead they cover for food and, if needed, accommodation and travels.”
“As of March next year, we’ll go for 15 weeks to 15 different countries to work on 48-hour projects, as part our program at Hyper Island. We are now looking for companies that are interested in getting new approaches in their communication and brand work, both as of today as well as during these fifteen weeks”.
After a couple of successful pilot projects, The Pop Up Agency is now live and ready to take on challenges across the globe. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how the project pans out and how receptive companies are to a “brand studio” method of creative problem-solving.
